Google has added a free and user-friendly way for customers to contact and schedule appointments with local companies that appeared in their Google search results via text messaging.
Now when customers search for and find the local business listing on Google Search, they can schedule appointments directly from Google My Business (GMB) listing.
This option is currently only available on mobile devices, and it will not show up when the user searches on a desktop or laptop.
